Cell free protein synthesis is a technology to synthesize proteins in vitro by cell extract supplemented with amino acids, target protein gene, and energy regeneration system. RIKEN's advanced E. coli based cell free protein synthesis technology is now available as Musaibo Kun kits. The kit enables rapid and easy protein synthesis with high isotope labeling efficiency.

We highly recommend these kits for first trial. The kit can express intracellular proteins, secretory proteins, and membrane proteins. Proteins can be easily synthesized by adding template DNA and incubating for 1-16 hours because the reaction solution contains required components for protein synthesis including amino acids.

*1 frGFP is synthesized with NHis tag and TEV protease recognition sequence attached to the N-terminus.

You can easily try cell-free protein synthesis. Six reactions of small-scale synthesis (0.1 mL) can be carried out with the included microdialysis cup. The kit is suitable for expression yield/solubility assay and reaction condition optimization.

This kit can synthesize stable isotope-labeled proteins by combination with various stable isotope-labeled amino acids (sold separately). Up to 5 mg of CAT protein can be synthesized per kit by 16-hour incubation.

This kit can synthesize stable isotope-labeled secretory proteins such as antibodies with disuffide bonds and cytokines. The oxidation condition can be changed and the kit contains disulfide isomerase.
